Sedra Boutique Hotel
Situated in its stunning area in Alhasa, the boutique hotel is established in the oasis of Saudi Arabia. It is located in the country’s South Eastern region, enriched with dates and famous water fountains. Alhasa has more than one million palm trees. The boutique hotel is named after the Sedra Tree (Ziziphus), which is one of the oldest trees that humans kind knew. It is heavily filled with leaves and has extended light brown branches. The client wanted to have a cohesive visual identity for the boutique hotel reflecting the unique tree– including name, signage, stationery, and all communication materials – to convey its feel and what it offers.
The logotype has been drawn by hand to give it a distinctly personal touch and resemble the brand’s core and the tree’s uniqueness. Arabic calligraphy was used as an abstraction of the tree. The iconography shows the warm character of the boutique hotel and its location. The colors were inspired by the nature of Alhasa, as it is considered the largest oasis surrounded by palm trees in the world.
