King Abdul Aziz Airport Posters
As the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) company expanded King Abdul Aziz airport, some areas were still being
built, including the bakery shops, seating areas, and children’s playgrounds. GACA and King Abdul Aziz Airport marketing
representatives contacted Co-Designs to create futuristic posters aligned with the branding identity of the airport and
reflective of the Saudi culture to identify the unfinished areas.
The Co-Designs team studied the branding identity of the airport and designed a solution that blends with the schematic
colors of the airport yet they are easily recognizable. The local culture was embedded in the futuristic look by showing Saudi
men and women wearing their traditional outfits. We used elements inspired by the Saudi environment to reflect the culture,
including the desert, palm trees, and Islamic ornamentation. We designed the project in collaboration with Kaf Design
Consultancy.
